Strengths

Barbara as a Hydro enabler in a Vaporize team. Her Melody Loop applies Hydro to the active character and nearby enemies, enabling Pyro DPS to trigger Vaporize. Thrilling Tales ATK buff on swap adds further value.

Melody Loop keeps the active character Hydro-afflicted for Vaporize. Instant heal from Burst for safety. Thrilling Tales ATK buff passed to DPS on swap significantly amplifies their opening hits.

On-field Pyro DPS who benefits from Barbara's Hydro for Vaporize (1.5× for Pyro on Hydro). Barbara's ATK buff from Thrilling Tales on swap directly increases Diluc's first few attacks.

ATK buff from Burst + healing. Pyro resonance with Diluc. Barbara's healing means Bennett's heal is backup, freeing him to focus on ATK buff application.

Swirl Pyro for Pyro DMG Bonus on the team. Groups enemies for Diluc's AoE. EM-based Pyro buff amplifies Vaporize reactions.

Talents
4-hit Hydro catalyst combo. Not used in Barbara's rotation. Leave at level 1.
Creates a Melody Loop around the active character lasting 15.5 seconds. The Melody Loop: applies Hydro to the active character and pulses healing every few seconds; Barbara's Normal Attacks gain a Hydro splash that applies Hydro to nearby enemies; at intervals, deals AoE Hydro DMG to nearby enemies. This is the primary healing tool and Hydro application source.
Instantly restores a large amount of HP to all party members based on Barbara's Max HP. The single largest instant full-party heal in the game at equivalent investment. Costs 80 Energy.
While Melody Loop is active, Barbara's Energy Recharge is increased by 30%. This passive reduces the effective ER needed for consistent Burst uptime — only active when Melody Loop is running.
If an active character is about to be knocked out and Barbara is not in Cooldown, Barbara automatically revives the character with HP equal to 1 HP + 15% of that character's Max HP. At C6, this passive loses its cooldown, providing unlimited free revivals per fight.

Barbara restores 1 Energy whenever her Melody Loop triggers a hit on an enemy. Minor ER improvement.

Marginal ER improvement. Not impactful.
More useful ER regeneration — triggers specifically when healing brings characters out of danger. Combined with C1, reduces Barbara's ER needs by a small amount.

Increases Shining Miracle level by 3, healing for more HP.

The A4 auto-revive passive now has no cooldown. Barbara can revive fallen characters an unlimited number of times per fight. In Spiral Abyss, this means a failed rotation can be recovered from without resetting the chamber.
Is it worth getting?
The only constellation worth targeting. Unlimited free revivals are a genuine safety net for difficult content. Especially valuable in Imaginarium Theater. Otherwise Barbara provides limited competitive value.
C0 Barbara is a reliable free healer. Only investment target: C6 for unlimited auto-revive. Endgame target: C6.
