Theorylytics (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates theorylytics.com, a site providing character build guides, tier lists, weapon rankings, and team-composition advice for gacha and RPG games. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Data We Collect

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. GA4 automatically collects:

• Referring website or search query that led you here

This data is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies placed by Google. It is aggregated — we see totals and trends, not information tied to individual identities.

Cookies

GA4 sets first-party cookies (prefixed _ga) to distinguish unique sessions. These cookies expire after 13 months. No other cookies are set by Theorylytics.

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

Your Opt-Out Options

• Browser settings — disable third-party cookies or enable “Do Not Track” in your browser preferences.
• Google Analytics Opt-out — install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to block GA4 tracking across all sites.
• Ad personalisation — manage Google’s use of your data for ads at adssettings.google.com.

Third-Party Services

Character artwork, game assets, and game data referenced on this site are the property of their respective rights holders (miHoYo / HoYoverse, Kuro Games, etc.). Theorylytics is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game developer.

Data Retention

GA4 retains event-level data for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated reports may persist longer but cannot be linked back to individual users.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
