Ganyu Freeze teams work around using a Hydro unit that can apply Hydro off-field, such as Furina, Mona, or even Sangonomiya Kokomi. Combined to a support such as Shenhe or a Shielder if you want a bit more protection since Ganyu is rather squishy.

Ganyu serves as the primary damage dealer, utilizing her Frostflake Arrows and wide-range Burst to apply Cryo and deal massive AoE damage. Her Burst also grants a 20% Cryo DMG bonus to herself and teammates within its radius.

Mona applies off-field Hydro to keep enemies Frozen while her Omen debuff significantly increases the damage enemies take. This allows Ganyu to land critical hits safely on immobilized targets.

Venti provides unparalleled grouping for Ganyu’s quadratic scaling Burst, ensuring all icicles hit multiple targets simultaneously. His Ascension passive also refunds energy to the team, smoothing out rotations.

Shenhe massively boosts Ganyu's Cryo DMG through her Icy Quill effect and Burst-based Cryo RES shred. Her presence also provides Cryo Resonance, increasing CRIT Rate against Frozen enemies.
