Strengths
- Solid sustained damage output
- Large AoE that is unique in hitting in front, above and behind him
- Infinite interruption resistance during his Arataki Kesagiri Charged Attacks that consume no Stamina
- One of the most comfortable to play and tanky characters in the game, thanks to his large DEF stat and innate ability to create Crystallize shields
- Has many teams that do not rely on contested support characters
- Unga Bunga — but his combos still allow for skill expression and engaging combat
- The coolest guy in town
Weaknesses
- Reliant on his Elemental Burst, which ends upon swapping out, locking him into one playstyle
- While not very high, his Energy Recharge requirements must be met to ensure damage uptime
- Relatively low-value Constellations before C6
- Lower personal DPS in comparison to some newer hypercarries

The quintessential Itto team. Gorou provides DEF% buffs and Geo RES shred, Albedo dishes off-field Geo damage and EM, and Zhongli shields and provides universal RES shred. Itto explodes for enormous damage in Burst mode.

On-field hypercarry. His Burst converts DEF to ATK and infuses Geo — profits maximally from Gorou's DEF buffs and Zhongli's RES shred.

Essential support for Itto. Provides DEF% buff, Geo RES shred at C4+, and off-field Geo damage. Itto runs minimum 3 Geo for Gorou's full buff.

Off-field Geo damage from Solar Isotoma. A4 gives +125 EM after Burst. Third Geo for Gorou's maximum buff tier.

Jade Shield provides interruption resistance and universal 20% RES shred. Fourth Geo if running full Geo team.
Talents & Constellations
Talents
5-hit Normal Attack chain. During Raging Oni King, attacks gain Geo infusion and ATK speed bonus. Building Superlative Superstrength stacks from Skill and certain Normal Attacks enables powerful Arataki Kesagiri Charged Attack follow-ups.
Hurls Ushi (bull) forward, dealing AoE Geo DMG and taunting nearby enemies. Ushi generates a Superlative Superstrength stack on hit and can absorb hits to create additional stacks. Ushi also functions as a Geo Construct.
Itto transforms into Raging Oni King for 11 seconds: gains Geo infusion, boosted ATK speed, and converts a portion of DEF into ATK. During this mode, Arataki Kesagiri Charged Attacks deal massive Geo DMG and don't cost Stamina. Core of his entire damage rotation.
When a party member other than Itto picks up a Geo Construct (e.g., Ushi), Itto gains 1 Superlative Superstrength stack. Also: the first hit of Arataki Kesagiri grants 1 stack. Minor stack generation boost.
For every Superlative Superstrength stack consumed by Arataki Kesagiri, Itto's CRIT DMG is increased by 6%, up to 24% maximum. After the final slash, his ATK speed is increased by 10% for 1s. Massive CRIT DMG amplifier during Burst combos.
Constellations
Ensures Itto enters Burst mode with a full stack of Superlative Superstrength immediately, enabling faster and stronger Kesagiri combos right from the start of his window.
Is it worth getting?
Strong QoL that increases DPS output in Burst window. Worth pulling to C1.
With a full Geo team, Burst CD is reduced by 6s and 24 Energy is restored. Significantly helps with Burst rotation uptime in 4-Geo compositions.
Is it worth getting?
Excellent in Geo teams — nearly removes the ER investment requirement. Good pull target.
Increases Ushi's damage. Minor improvement.
Is it worth getting?
Incremental. Not a reason to pull.
Party-wide ATK and DEF buff after his Burst ends. Useful for the off-field supports acting after his window.
Is it worth getting?
Nice team buff. Not a pull reason on its own.
Increases Burst DEF-to-ATK conversion scaling and damage. Meaningful upgrade for his core damage.
Is it worth getting?
Solid damage increase. Good stopping point if pulling for constellations.
Massively extends his Charged Attack chain duration by preserving stacks. Enormous damage multiplier in his Burst window.
Is it worth getting?
The biggest damage spike — effectively doubles his Kesagiri spam. Worth it if you love Itto.
C0 Itto is fully viable in a 3-Geo team with Gorou. His damage ceiling is high even without constellations.
Alternatives to Itto
Not sure Itto is right for you? Compare against other characters to find your best pull.

F2P Geo hypercarry with self-healing. Lower ceiling than Itto at C6 but excellent at C6 herself.

Crystallize-based Geo DPS, doesn't need Gorou. Different playstyle — equally viable in different Geo comps.

Not an on-field alternative — Albedo pairs with Itto rather than replacing him.
