Neuvillette's best team comps tend to revolve around his Hypercarry playstyle which primarily focuses on the damage he can provide to the team. In both examples, Kaedehara Kazuha is used to help decrease the enemies Hydro RES as well as providing an Elemental DMG bonus to Hydro with his Ascension passive, Soumon Swordsmanship.
Neuvillette acts as the Hypercarry, utilizing his powerful Charged Attacks to deal massive Hydro DMG that scales with his Max HP. This team focuses on maximizing his personal output through various elemental buffs.
Fischl provides consistent off-field Electro damage and triggers Electro-Charged, which helps Neuvillette gain stacks for his Past Draconic Glories passive. Her high energy particle generation also helps the team's overall rotation.
Kazuha provides a massive Hydro DMG bonus and shreds enemy Hydro RES, which are both essential for Neuvillette's scaling. His grouping ability also makes Neuvillette's linear Charged Attacks much more efficient against multiple targets.
Zhongli provides a powerful shield that prevents Neuvillette's Charged Attacks from being interrupted, which is crucial for his damage uptime. His universal RES shred further amplifies Neuvillette's Hydro beams.

Neuvillette performs a sequence of Catalyst-based Normal Attacks.
Creates a waterfall that deals AoE Hydro DMG and creates three Sourcewater Droplets. At a certain point, after the waterfall ends a Spiritbreath Thorn will pierce enemies and deal another hit of Hydro DMG.
Unleashes waves that will deal AoE Hydro DMG based on Neuvillette's Max HP. After a short interval, two waterfalls will descend and deal Hydro DMG in a somewhat smaller AoE, and will generate 6 Sourcewater Droplets within an area in front.

When Neuvillette takes the field, he will obtain one stack of Past Draconic Glories from the Passive Talent Heir to the Ancient Sea's Authority.
