Normal Attack — not worth levelling. Physical hits are a tiny fraction of Zibai's total damage.

The strongest Zibai team. Columbina provides the best Lunar reaction buffs and Moonsign synergy. Linnea covers Geo RES shred, healing, and off-field damage. The fourth slot is flexible — Illuga adds EM, Gorou adds DEF, Zhongli adds shielding.
On-field Lunar-Crystallize DPS. Her passive raises party Moonsign by 1, activating Ascendant Gleam bonuses for the full team.
Best Hydro partner. Boosts Lunar Reaction DMG and shares Moonsign synergy with Zibai, providing buffs no other Hydro unit replicates.
30% Geo RES shred, off-field Geo DMG, and team healing from her Burst. One of the best-in-slot supports for Zibai.
Best 4-star option. Grants EM to allies and additional buffs scaled by the number of Geo and Hydro characters — perfect fit for this team.

Talents
Performs up to 4 rapid sword strikes. In Lunar Phase Shift mode, the 4th hit deals an additional instance of Geo DMG counted as Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG. Normal Attacks also generate Phase Shift Radiance (5 points per hit) while in Lunar Phase Shift mode.
Enters Lunar Phase Shift mode, infusing all Normal and Charged Attacks with Geo that cannot be overridden by other infusions. While in this mode Zibai accumulates Phase Shift Radiance — 10 points per second passively, 5 per Normal Attack hit. When she has 70 or more Radiance she can spend it to cast Spirit Steed's Stride, dealing two instances of Geo DMG with the second counted as Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG. She can cast Spirit Steed's Stride up to 4 times per Lunar Phase Shift window (5 at C1).
Operates the Jadelight Canopy, dealing two instances of Geo DMG. The second hit is counted as Lunar-Crystallize Reaction DMG. In Spiral Abyss rotations it is generally best to use the Burst at the start of the rotation to allow more time for Energy recovery.
When Zibai casts her Elemental Skill or triggers Moondrift Harmony, she gains the Moonfall effect for 4s: the 2nd hit of Spirit Steed's Stride deals bonus DMG equal to 60% of her DEF. This makes DEF stacking directly increase her enhanced Skill damage.
Each other Geo party member increases Zibai's DEF by 15%. Each other Hydro party member increases her Elemental Mastery by 60. This is why teams built around Geo and Hydro teammates are so powerful for her — both stats directly raise her damage.
When any party member triggers Hydro Crystallize, it is converted into Lunar-Crystallize instead, with every 100 DEF Zibai has increasing Lunar-Crystallize Base DMG by 0.7% (up to 14%). Zibai also raises the party's Moonsign level by 1, enabling Ascendant Gleam buffs that other Lunar characters rely on.
Constellations
An immediate 100 Radiance on Skill cast means Zibai can launch her first Spirit Steed's Stride right away and gains an additional cast per window. The 220% bonus on the first enhanced Skill hit per window is a massive burst damage increase.

Best constellation by a significant margin — 125% of C0 damage. Strong pull target before investing in the weapon.
A significant team-wide Lunar Reaction buff and a huge personal damage increase from the 550% DEF scaling bonus on Spirit Steed's Stride. Reaches 151% of C0 total damage.

Exceptional C6 that reaches 253% of C0 — the largest single constellation jump. Very high investment.
C0 Zibai is already one of the strongest DPS characters in the game. She is F2P-friendly thanks to accessible weapons (Flute of Ezpitzal, Harbinger of Dawn) and 4-star supports (Illuga, Gorou). The performance gap against top-tier teams is mainly felt without Columbina, not from missing constellations.
Alternatives to Zibai
