Strengths
- A4 passive gives the entire team massive Elemental DMG Bonus — universal buff for every elemental DPS
- Viridescent Venerer 40% RES shred layers on top of A4 buff
- Excellent grouping from Skill's Plunge and Burst AoE
- Flexible — fits virtually every elemental team composition
- His personal Swirl damage is respectable with high EM stacks
Weaknesses
- Provides little to no benefit for Geo or Physical DPS teams
- Plunge Skill can send lightweight enemies flying out of range
- Building him requires EM-heavy artifacts — limited CRIT synergy
- Competes with Sucrose for the same EM-buffer Anemo slot (though Kazuha is superior)
Talent Priority
Main source of damage or utility. Level to 10.
Level to 6–8 for meaningful gains.
Level to 6–8 for meaningful gains.
Level minimally or skip.
Substat Priority
Second Anemo particles dramatically lower ER needs. Kazuha Skill → Burst → off-field Swirl ticks throughout rotation.
Must invest in ER substats while maintaining EM. Xiphos' Moonlight solves both stats simultaneously.
Favonius particle generation lowers ER threshold. Some EM sacrifice from weapon choice.
Stack Elemental Mastery to 900–1000 for maximum A4 buff value (~36–40% Elemental DMG Bonus). ER of ~160% ensures consistent Burst uptime.

Kazuha
Support / Buffer

Bennett
Healer / Buffer
The classic usage of Kazuha — Swirl Pyro or Hydro to apply VV shred and A4 Elemental DMG Bonus. Pairs with any Pyro or Hydro DPS for substantial amplification.

Kazuha's A4 grants Pyro DMG Bonus based on his EM after Swirling Pyro. VV shred -40% Pyro RES on top. Enormous combined buff.

Off-field Hydro for Vaporize. Kazuha Swirls whichever element is present to apply VV shred.

Swirls Pyro to apply A4 Pyro DMG Bonus to Hu Tao. VV 4pc reduces Pyro RES. Skill groups enemies for Hu Tao combos.

ATK buff and healing. Pyro resonance. Kazuha amplifies his Pyro and Bennett amplifies ATK — stacked multiplicatively.
Talents & Constellations
Talents
Standard 5-hit sword combo. Rarely used in a support rotation. Leave at level 1.
Tap: pulls enemies forward and launches Kazuha into the air, dealing Anemo DMG. He can then Plunge for additional Anemo DMG with a wider AoE. Hold: enhanced pull and higher launch. Excellent for grouping and triggering Swirl mid-air.
Deals a large AoE Anemo slash and creates an Autumn Whirlwind field for 8 seconds. The field deals periodic Anemo DMG and absorbs the first element it contacts, dealing additional DMG of that type and Swirling continuously. Core of his rotation — triggers VV shred and A4 passive repeatedly.
If Chihayaburu absorbs an element via Swirl, his Plunge DMG is increased by 200% of his EM and infuses that element for 5s. Massively boosts his Plunge damage output.
Upon triggering a Swirl reaction, Kaedehara Kazuha will grant all party members a 0.04% Elemental DMG Bonus to the element absorbed by Swirl for every point of Elemental Mastery he has for 8s. Bonuses for different elements obtained through this method can co-exist.
Constellations
Skill CD reduction and Burst-triggered Skill reset. Allows double Skill use in a rotation for more grouping and Swirl triggers.
Is it worth getting?
Good QoL for more Swirl triggers. Nice to have at C1.
Active character inside Kazuha's field gains +200 EM — massively boosting reaction damage for on-field DPS units. Kazuha himself gains +200 EM, pushing his A4 buff even higher.
Is it worth getting?
Extraordinary constellation — one of the best C2s in the game. If you love Kazuha, C2 is the target.
Skill damage and pull strength increase. Minor improvement.
Is it worth getting?
Low priority. Not a reason to pull.
Passive Energy recovery. Helps ER needs slightly in extended rotations.
Is it worth getting?
Minor QoL. Not a reason to pull.
Burst damage and element absorption DMG increase. Meaningful for personal Swirl damage.
Is it worth getting?
Solid incremental improvement.
Kazuha's Normal Attacks become Anemo-infused and he triggers additional Swirls every 0.2s — enormously increasing his personal Swirl count and A4 buff refresh rate.
Is it worth getting?
Massive personal damage spike. Transforms him from support to hybrid support/DPS. Worth it if you invest heavily.
C0 Kazuha is already the best Anemo support in the game for most teams. His A4 and VV carry are entirely C0 features.
Alternatives to Kazuha
Not sure Kazuha is right for you? Compare against other characters to find your best pull.

4★ budget Kazuha. EM sharing via Burst and A4. Weaker grouping and lower EM transfer cap. Excellent free alternative.

Provides healing Kazuha lacks, but no EM-scaling team buff. Different role emphasis.

Superior AoE grouping and ER% restoration, but no EM-based DMG Bonus buff. Different strength profile.
