Strengths
- Excellent healing, especially in on-field playstyles
- Good Hydro application both on- and off-field
- Varied playstyles and flexible team building
- Easy and comfortable gameplay
- Plenty of accessible weapon options
- Easy to build, needing only HP and ER in most playstyles
Weaknesses
- Enemies can move away from Kokomi’s jellyfish, reducing her off-field Hydro application and particle generation to zero
- Comparatively lower personal output compared to most on-field damage dealers
- Relatively low DPS gains with vertical investment
- Little synergy with Lunar Reactions due to her lack of CRIT
- Her 20s Skill cooldown limits her usability with characters who prefer shorter rotations
Talent Priority

Level to 6–8 for meaningful gains.
Level to 6–8 for meaningful gains.
Level minimally or skip.
Substat Priority
Prototype Amber's passive restores 18 Energy on Burst cast, significantly reducing ER threshold. Comfortable at 140%.
No built-in energy restore; invest more ER in substats or pair with an energy funnel unit.
Particles from Ayaka and Shenhe help Kokomi's ER needs. 150% is usually sufficient with proper funneling.
Prototype Amber is highly recommended for F2P — its on-Burst energy regeneration lets Kokomi loop her Burst every ~18s without heavy ER investment.

Cryo Support
Kokomi provides consistent on-field Hydro application to keep enemies frozen with Ayaka's Cryo. Her healing solves survivability completely, freeing other slots for pure damage supports. A textbook Freeze team.

Cryo Sword DPS whose Burst deals enormous Freeze-enhanced Cryo DMG. Kokomi's continuous Hydro application keeps enemies perpetually Frozen for Ayaka's CRIT Rate bonus from Blizzard Strayer.

Provides continuous Hydro via Bake-Kurage and on-field Burst. Heals the team, applies Hydro for Freeze, and wears Ocean-Hued Clam for bonus AoE damage.

Swirls Cryo/Hydro for grouping, RES shred, and A4 elemental DMG bonus. One of the strongest supports in any Freeze team.

Provides Cryo DMG Bonus via Icy Quill stacks and Cryo RES shred. Makes Ayaka's Burst hit dramatically harder.
Talents & Constellations
Talents
3-hit Normal Attack chain dealing Hydro DMG. During Elemental Burst (Nereid's Ascension), these attacks deal dramatically increased Hydro DMG and heal nearby party members with each hit. Main source of on-field DPS during Burst window.
Kokomi summons a Bake-Kurage jellyfish at a target location. The Bake-Kurage continuously applies Hydro DMG to nearby enemies and heals all nearby party members for a duration based on Kokomi's HP. Casting the Skill during Elemental Burst refreshes Bake-Kurage's duration.
Kokomi dons the Ceremonial Garment for 10 seconds. In this state: Normal and Charged Attack DMG increases (scales with Healing Bonus via A4), every Normal/Charged/Plunging Attack heals all party members based on Kokomi's HP, and she gains increased resistance to interruption. Casting Skill during Burst refreshes Bake-Kurage duration.
If Kokomi's own Bake-Kurage is on the field when she uses Nereid's Ascension, the Bake-Kurage's duration is refreshed. This synergy allows near-permanent uptime on both her Skill and Burst healing.
While wearing the Ceremonial Garment from Nereid's Ascension, Kokomi's Normal and Charged Attack DMG is increased by 15% of her Healing Bonus. Investing in Healing Bonus directly translates into Hydro DMG output during her Burst window.
Constellations
While wearing the Ceremonial Garment, the final Normal Attack in Kokomi's combo deals an additional 30% of her ATK as Hydro DMG against surrounding opponents.
Is it worth getting?
Minor damage improvement during Burst window. Not worth pulling for.
Increases the healing of Bake-Kurage to nearby party members: characters with more than 50% HP are healed for an additional amount equal to 4.5% of Kokomi's Max HP; characters at 50% HP or less are healed for an amount equal to 4.5% of Kokomi's Max HP plus an additional +15% of Kokomi's Healing Bonus.
Is it worth getting?
Solid healing improvement. Helps in challenging content. Decent QoL but not a pull target.
Increases Nereid's Ascension's level by 3, improving the Burst window DMG and healing multipliers.
Is it worth getting?
Incremental power increase. Not a reason to pull.
While wearing the Ceremonial Garment, Kokomi's Normal Attacks have a 0.5s reduced cooldown per hit and each hit regenerates 0.8 Energy. Helps Burst loop.
Is it worth getting?
Helps Burst uptime in long fights. Minor QoL.
Increases Kurage's Oath's level by 3, improving Bake-Kurage healing and Hydro application.
Is it worth getting?
Improves both healing and Hydro application. Solid upgrade on the path to C6.
While under the effect of Nereid's Ascension, DMG from Normal and Charged Attacks is increased by 40% of Healing Bonus (stacking on top of A4's 15%), and enemies nearby have their Hydro RES reduced by 35%.
Is it worth getting?
Enormous power spike — combines with A4 for massive Hydro DMG scaling off Healing Bonus, plus personal Hydro RES shred. Makes Kokomi a genuine on-field Hydro DPS. Worth pulling if you want a powerful on-field Hydro carry.
C0 is fully viable and the standard for all content. C6 is an exceptional DPS upgrade for players who want Kokomi as an on-field Hydro carry.
