Strengths
- Among the highest personal Pyro DPS in the game at C0
- Nightsoul Blessing creates a fluid, aggressive gameplay loop with no downtime
- Performs well in all content — Spiral Abyss, Overworld, and Imaginarium Theater
- Scales dramatically at C2 and C6 for players who invest
Weaknesses
- Full potential requires Natlan teammates — non-Natlan teams lose the Nightsoul synergy bonus
- Signature weapon (A Thousand Blazing Suns) is a meaningful power gap over F2P alternatives
- Fighting Spirit management requires the team to be actively attacking — idle teammates slow her Burst rotation
- C2 is a significant additional investment to reach her true ceiling
Talent Priority
Core damage source. Sunfell Slice and the Crucible of Death and Life state scale directly with Burst level. Level first, target 10.
Controls both Armament forms — Ring and Flamestrider — and governs Nightsoul point restoration. Level to 8 minimum, 10 if resources allow.
Normal Attacks deal Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG in Flamestrider mode, but Skill and Burst multipliers dominate. Level last.
Substat Priority
Mavuika's Burst uses Fighting Spirit — she needs zero ER. Xilonen and Citlali handle their own energy independently
Same — Fighting Spirit charges from Furina's off-field hits and Normal Attacks. No ER investment required
Ororon's Normal Attacks and Nightsoul usage feed Fighting Spirit quickly. No ER needed
Mavuika does not use Energy for her Burst. Never build ER% — invest in CRIT, ATK, and Pyro DMG% instead
Mavuika's Burst uses Fighting Spirit, not Energy. Build ATK% Sands — never ER% Sands. Invest all subs into CRIT and ATK.

Citlali
Sub-DPS / Enabler
The current top Mavuika team. Citlali applies persistent off-field Cryo, allowing Mavuika's Pyro attacks to trigger Melt (1.5×) for the entirety of her Nightsoul Blessing window. Xilonen provides universal resistance shred and shields while activating Natlan Nightsoul synergy. Bennett's ATK buff underpins the whole team's damage. This comp consistently outperforms Natlan Hypercarry at C0.

The on-field driver. Holds Elemental Skill to enter Flamestrider mode, then lands Melt-boosted Normal Attacks and her Burst's Sunfell Slice for the rotation window. The 1.5× Melt multiplier on top of her already high scaling is her damage peak.

The backbone of the damage. His Burst's flat ATK buff applies inside Mavuika's Flamestrider state and scales enormously with her high Base ATK. Also heals and activates Pyro resonance for an additional 25% ATK.

Provides universal elemental resistance shred (Pyro, Cryo, Geo) for the entire team, enabling both Mavuika and Citlali to hit harder. Her own Nightsoul Blessing generates Fighting Spirit for Mavuika, and she provides Crystallize shields.

Applies persistent off-field Cryo to enemies via her Ice Storm Shaman and shields the team. Her Cryo applications prime enemies for Mavuika to trigger Melt. Also provides Cryo and Pyro resistance shred to nearby enemies and contributes meaningful off-field damage.
Talents & Constellations
Talents
Performs up to 4 consecutive claymore strikes. While riding the Flamestrider (Hold Skill), all Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks are converted to Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG and cannot be overridden. Sprinting on the Flamestrider also deals Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG to enemies along the path.
Mavuika calls upon her authority over 'conflict' to summon the All-Fire Armaments, restoring her Nightsoul points to maximum and entering Nightsoul's Blessing. The Armaments have two forms: Press ('Divine Name Unleashed') manifests a Ring of Searing Radiance that follows the current active character and attacks nearby enemies at intervals with Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG. Hold ('Ancient Name Unbound') manifests the Flamestrider motorcycle — Mavuika rides it at high speed, crosses terrain, and all her attacks become Nightsoul-aligned Pyro DMG. Tapping the Skill mid-state switches between forms. The Armaments vanish when Nightsoul's Blessing ends.
Mavuika's Burst does not consume Energy — it uses Fighting Spirit instead. She accumulates Fighting Spirit when nearby party members consume Nightsoul points, and when party members' Normal Attacks hit enemies (1.5 per hit). When she has at least 50% Fighting Spirit she can trigger the Burst: she rides her Flamestrider high into the air and slams down with Sunfell Slice, dealing massive Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG. She then enters the 'Crucible of Death and Life' state, where Nightsoul points are no longer consumed, interruption resistance is increased, and Sunfell Slice damage is amplified based on the amount of Fighting Spirit used.
When a nearby party member triggers a Nightsoul Burst, Mavuika's ATK is increased by 30% for 10 seconds. This rewards building a team where multiple characters have Nightsoul-related mechanics, and means her ATK buff is essentially permanent in a Natlan-heavy team.
After Mavuika uses her Elemental Burst, every point of Fighting Spirit she had when activating it increases the DMG dealt by the current active party member by 0.2%. The maximum bonus is 40%, and it lasts 20 seconds, gradually decaying. This passive effectively turns her Burst into a party-wide damage amplifier — the higher her Fighting Spirit when she pops Burst, the bigger the buff.
Constellations
Increases Mavuika's maximum Nightsoul points to 120 and makes her accumulate Fighting Spirit 25% more efficiently. She also gains a 40% ATK bonus for 8 seconds after gaining Fighting Spirit, which is nearly permanent during active rotations.
Is it worth getting?
Strong quality-of-life upgrade. The extra Nightsoul capacity and Fighting Spirit efficiency reduce her dependency on Natlan teammates to charge her Burst, and the frequent ATK buff partially compensates for not running Bennett. Not a reason to pull, but a genuinely useful step.
While in Nightsoul's Blessing, Mavuika gains +200 Base ATK and her Armaments are enhanced: in Ring form, nearby enemies' DEF is reduced by 20%; in Flamestrider form, her Normal Attacks, Charged Attacks, and Burst's Sunfell Slice deal bonus DMG equal to 60%, 90%, and 120% of her ATK respectively.
Is it worth getting?
This is the pull target. The DEF shred and massive additional damage multipliers represent a large overall DPS increase at a C0 build level. If you're investing in Mavuika's constellations, C2 is where to stop unless you're going all the way to C6.
Increases the level of Mavuika's Elemental Burst 'Hour of Burning Skies' by 3, up to a maximum of level 15. Higher Burst levels directly improve the damage of Sunfell Slice — her primary nuke — and the multipliers she gains during the Crucible of Death and Life state.
Is it worth getting?
A clean incremental upgrade. Burst levels directly feed her damage ceiling, and this is a meaningful step on the path to C6.
Enhances the 'Kiongozi' passive: the party-wide DMG Bonus Mavuika grants after using her Burst no longer decays over time, and an additional 10% DMG Bonus is added on top. Requires the Kiongozi passive to be unlocked.
Is it worth getting?
Better than it looks — converting Kiongozi's decaying buff into a flat bonus makes her team support more consistent throughout long rotations. Still not a standalone pull target, but it meaningfully improves the team ceiling on the way to C6.
Increases the level of Mavuika's Elemental Skill 'The Named Moment' by 3, up to a maximum of level 15. Higher Skill levels improve the damage of both the Ring of Searing Radiance and the Flamestrider's attacks, and extend the time she can maintain Nightsoul's Blessing.
Is it worth getting?
A useful step. Skill levels contribute to her sustained damage across both Armament forms. Not worth pulling for alone, but welcome as the final stop before C6.
Dramatically enhances both Armament forms: in Ring form, each Ring hit also summons a Flamestrider to crash into the enemy, dealing 200% of ATK as Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG. In Flamestrider form, a Scorching Ring follows Mavuika, reducing nearby enemies' DEF by 20% and dealing 500% of ATK as Nightsoul-aligned AoE Pyro DMG every 3 seconds.
Is it worth getting?
The endgame ceiling. Between the extra DEF shred, the persistent AoE Pyro hits, and the Flamestrider crash follow-ups, C6 pushes Mavuika into a different tier of raw damage. The value compounds multiplicatively with her other buffs.
C0 is fully viable. First stop: C2. Endgame target: C6.
