Bennett vs Chevreuse

The universal ATK buffer vs. the Overloaded specialist.

TL;DR — Quick Pick

Pick Bennett if…

  • You run a team that isn't specifically Overloaded (Vaporize, Freeze, Melt, any Pyro carry).
  • You want the single best ATK-buffing support in the game — nothing touches Bennett's flat ATK.
  • You need a healer and a buffer in one slot.

Pick Chevreuse if…

  • You are specifically running an Overloaded team (Pyro + Electro on-field DPS).
  • Your team already has Bennett and you need a second Pyro support for Pyro resonance.
  • You want to shred Pyro AND Electro resistance simultaneously — Chevreuse's 40% shred beats VV in Overloaded.
Verdict

Bennett is the better choice in almost every scenario — his flat ATK buff is unmatched and he works in any team. Chevreuse is a niche pick who excels precisely in the one context Bennett doesn't shine: dedicated Overloaded teams. If you're not building an Overloaded comp, Bennett is the answer every time.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Bennett

Strengths
  • Bennett is very easy to build, needing only a high Base ATK sword.
  • Incredibly powerful ATK buffs.
  • More than enough healing for most teams.
Weaknesses
  • Holding his Elemental Skill causes knockback.
  • Playing "Circle Impact" can be very annoying when you cannot leave Bennett's field for extended periods.

Chevreuse

Strengths
  • Fantastic buffing for Pyro and Electro
  • Buffs apply to the whole team
  • Great 4 star weapon options
Weaknesses
  • Restricted team options due to full Pyro Electro team requirement
  • Low healing compared to other healers
  • Overload reaction can be disruptive due to the knockback

Shared Team Members

With Bennett

Core synergy. Bennett's ATK buff scales Xiangling's Guoba and Pyronado directly, and their Pyro resonance gives a further 25% ATK to the whole team. The Bennett + Xiangling core is a staple of high-end teams.

With Chevreuse

Strong in Overloaded. Xiangling provides off-field Pyro application that triggers Overloaded alongside an Electro DPS. Chevreuse's shred amplifies every Pyro hit Guoba and Pyronado land.

With Bennett

Useful pairing. Bennett buffs Raiden's ATK-scaling Burst and the Pyro resonance layer stacks with her other buffs. He fits comfortably in her hypercarry team.

With Chevreuse

Synergistic in Overloaded. Chevreuse's Pyro + Electro RES shred directly amplifies Raiden's Electro damage when Overloaded reactions are triggered by a Pyro unit.
