ER% (until 250–300%) > CRIT Rate/DMG > ATK%
Strengths
- Unmatched team battery — restores energy to all party members after her Burst
- Passive off-field Electro DMG and Burst DMG buff from her Skill
- On-field Burst damage is extremely high with proper ER investment
- Extremely versatile — fits National, Hyperbloom, Aggravate, and Hypercarry teams
- Off-field Electro application enables reactions passively during other characters' turns
Weaknesses
- Requires very high ER% (250–300%) for maximum Burst output — heavy investment in ER substats
- Burst restores limited energy if team Burst costs are low — needs high-cost Burst teammates
- On-field Burst window (7 hits) is time-locked and cannot be extended
- Less impactful in teams without multiple Burst-dependent characters
Talent Priority
Main source of damage or utility. Level to 10.
Level minimally or skip.
Substat Priority
Bennett Burst → Xiangling Burst → Xingqiu Burst → Raiden Skill → Raiden Burst (7 Musou hits) → all Bursts restored. Repeat each ~20s rotation.
Nahida Skill + Burst → Yelan Burst → Raiden Skill → Raiden Burst. Off-field Skill continues triggering Hyperbloom during teammate turns.
Bennett Burst → Kazuha Skill → Sara Burst → Raiden Skill → Raiden Burst (full 7-hit Musou window for peak DPS). All buffs should overlap during Raiden's Burst.
Raiden's Burst restores energy based on party Burst costs — pair with high-cost Bursts (Xingqiu 80, Xiangling 80, Yelan 70) for maximum restoration.

Bennett
Healer / Buffer
The classic Raiden National team — Raiden batteries all teammates' Bursts while contributing massive Electro damage herself. Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Raiden form the core; Bennett provides healing and ATK buff.

Batteries all Bursts after her own Musou — Xingqiu and Xiangling both have expensive Bursts that Raiden fully restores. On-field Burst deals massive Electro DMG.

Overloaded with Raiden's Electro. Pyronado deals heavy off-field Pyro DMG amplified by Bennett's ATK buff. Raiden's battery makes Xiangling's high-cost Burst always available.

Vaporize with Xiangling's Pyronado. Rain Swords provide DMG reduction. Raiden batteries his Burst fully every rotation.

ATK buff amplifies Xiangling's Pyronado and Raiden's Burst hits. Pyro resonance with Xiangling for +25% ATK. Heals the team.
Talents & Constellations
Talents
Standard 5-hit Polearm combo. Used primarily during Musou Shinsetsu (Burst) where attacks are infused with Electro and augmented to Musou Isshin hits. Not relevant outside Burst window.
Deals AoE Electro DMG and creates an Eye of Stormy Judgment that follows the active character. When party members use Elemental Bursts, the Eye fires a coordinated Electro DMG attack. Also grants all party members Electro Infusion Bonus based on Raiden's ER% — a flat Burst DMG buff. The passive off-field Electro hits enable reactions and particle generation.
Raiden transforms into the Shogun, switching to Musou Isshin (polearm + Electro sword) attacks for 7 special hits. All hits deal Electro DMG scaling with Resolve stacks accumulated from her Skill hits. After Burst ends, restores Energy to all party members based on the total cost of party Bursts used during the Skill's uptime. 90-cost Burst but Raiden self-recharges quickly.
When nearby party members gain Elemental Orbs or Particles, Raiden Shogun gains 2 Resolve stacks. Resolve accumulates faster through teammate particle generation — rewards active particle-generating teammates.
Every 1% of Energy Recharge above 100% provides Raiden with 0.4% Electro DMG Bonus and 0.6% Musou Isshin DMG. This makes stacking ER% a triple investment: more Burst uptime, more team energy restoration, and more Burst damage.
Constellations
Raiden accumulates Resolve stacks faster overall, and Electro character Bursts in the party grant significantly more stacks. Ensures maximum Resolve before her own Burst.
Is it worth getting?
Solid QoL for Resolve accumulation. Nice first constellation.
During Raiden's Burst window, her attacks bypass 60% of enemy DEF — an enormous damage multiplier equivalent to effectively dealing much more damage against highly armored enemies. One of the best C2s in the game.
Is it worth getting?
Transformative — 60% DEF ignore is a massive damage amplifier especially against tanky enemies. Highly recommended.
Increases Musou Shinsetsu's damage scaling and Energy restoration.
Is it worth getting?
Solid incremental upgrade to her Burst.
Team-wide ATK buff for 10s after Raiden finishes her Burst — helps teammates' damage windows immediately after Raiden rotates off.
Is it worth getting?
Useful team buff. Nice to have, not essential.
Increases Transcendence: Baleful Omen's off-field Electro DMG and Burst DMG buff.
Is it worth getting?
Incremental upgrade to her off-field value.
Each Musou Isshin hit reduces all party Elemental Skill and Burst CDs by 1s — with 7 hits in her Burst, this reduces CDs by up to 7s. This enables faster rotations for the entire team.
Is it worth getting?
Excellent C6 — CD reduction for all teammates speeds up team rotations significantly, enabling higher team damage output per minute. Transformative for dedicated teams.
C0 Raiden Shogun is one of the best carries and supports in the game. No constellations required — every investment is optional upside.
Alternatives to Raiden Shogun

4★ off-field Electro option — good for Hyperbloom trigger but no team battery function.

4★ Electro healer who can trigger Hyperbloom — solid but far lower ceiling than Raiden.

High off-field Electro DMG but no battery function — different role, complement rather than replacement.
