Keqing vs Razor

Electro infusion speedster vs. the wolf-boy of Physical damage

TL;DR — Quick Pick

Pick Keqing if…

  • In Aggravate teams with Nahida and Fischl
  • If you enjoy high-mobility, teleport-based combat
  • When you need consistent, wide-reaching Electro Burst damage

Pick Razor if…

  • In 'Thundering Furry' (Burgeon/Hyperbloom) teams with C6 Bennett
  • If you want a classic Physical carry for the early-to-mid game
  • When you want to smash through Geo shields with a Claymore
Verdict

Keqing has found a powerful niche in modern Aggravate teams, making her much more relevant in the late game. Razor is primarily a Physical carry but has a high-skill 'rainbow' team ceiling that is very effective if built correctly.

With Keqing

The Dendro Traveler provides an accessible way to enable Aggravate for Keqing, using their Elemental Burst to apply Dendro over a large area. This allows Keqing to consistently trigger Quicken and Aggravate reactions throughout her field time. While outclassed by Nahida, the Traveler is a solid f2p option that offers EM buffs through their passives.

With Razor

Dendro Traveler enables Razor to function in hybrid Hyperbloom or 'Thundering Furry' teams by providing consistent Dendro application from off-field. Razor's Electro application during his burst triggers the Dendro cores created by a Hydro teammate, while the Traveler provides the initial Quicken aura. This allows Razor to utilize both his Physical and Elemental damage potential.

With Keqing

Fischl acts as a perfect battery for Keqing, ensuring her Elemental Burst is available on every cooldown for consistent i-frames and AoE damage. Her A4 passive triggers additional hits whenever Keqing triggers an Electro-related reaction, which happens constantly in Aggravate teams. Together, they generate a high volume of Electro particles and maintain high single-target DPS.

With Razor

Fischl is a key battery for Razor, helping him generate the energy required for his 80-cost Elemental Burst. She also assists in maintaining Superconduct by providing consistent Electro application alongside a Cryo unit, which is vital for Razor's Physical damage. Her off-field damage from Oz complements Razor's on-field brawling style without stealing field time.
