Venti is the better generalist and crowd controller, but Faruzan is mandatory for Anemo carries. They serve completely different roles: Venti supports elements, Faruzan supports Anemo.

Faruzan
- Excellent buffing to Anemo damage, especially at Constellation 6.
- Good grouping capabilities
- Great Anemo particle production at Constellation 6.
- Heavily Constellation reliant, missing out on a lot of buffing and Energy without her C6.
- 80 Energy Burst results in high Energy requirements even at C6.
- Buffing is exclusive to Anemo damage, making her only good with a handful of units.

Venti provides grouping and energy refund for Wanderer, but lacks the specific Anemo-focused buffs that Wanderer's specialized supports provide. He is a functional choice for managing large groups of small enemies, but he doesn't boost Wanderer's personal damage floor.
With Faruzan
Faruzan is the premier support for any Anemo carry, providing massive RES shred and DMG bonuses that are unmatched. Her presence is the single biggest factor in reaching high damage numbers for Anemo-focused teams, especially with her constellations.
