AoE Primary / Sprint-Reload Rifle
Using a barrage of rapid-fire plasma rockets, Gauss’ signature weapon lays down a path of destruction. Reloads are faster while sprinting, even more so in Gauss’ hands. For safety, rockets arm after traveling a safe distance.

Weapon dossier
Rapid-fire plasma rocket rifle that blanks packs with armed explosions after a short travel distance. Sprint between rooms to cut reload time — and pair with Gauss for the signature reload bonus when you want the loop to feel unfair.
Gauss’ signature primary. Sprint-reload is faster on any frame, and faster still in Gauss’ hands — Mach Rush / Redline play keeps the magazine topped without stopping to reload awkwardly. Gauss →

Permanent investments on this weapon copy — separate from the Prime variant.
Doubles the weapon’s mod capacity so endgame builds actually fit.
Usually the first permanent upgrade. Craft one or buy with Platinum.
Adds or changes a polarity slot so matching mods cost half capacity.
Most serious Acceltra builds want several Forma. Each Forma resets the weapon to rank 0.
Unlocks the Exilus utility slot (Ammo Mutation, Steady Hands, etc.).
Acceltra already has an Exilus polarity (Madurai). Adapter is still required to use the slot.
Lets you install a Primary Arcane for a big passive bonus.
Common picks: Primary Merciless / Deadhead / Frostbite-style arcanes depending on the build.
an unique rolled mod with random stats. Acceltra disposition is 0.65 (modest rolls).
Nice when the roll hits Multishot / Crit / Damage cleanly. Skip bad rolls — disposition isn’t high enough to force one.
The primed version of this gun — stronger stats and better polarities.
Same rocket fantasy; upgrade when you have the relics. Linked in Related above.
Common building blocks for this gun — not a full ranked build, just the mods you’ll see most often.
Multishot
Core damage and clear density. Stacks on kill for huge rocket volume.
Base Damage
Flat rifle damage foundation — still the default +Damage slot under Galvanized suites.
Crit Chance
Pushes Acceltra’s strong crit chance even higher. Fire-rate penalty is fine with sprint-reload.
Crit Damage
Standard crit-damage multiplier once crit chance is comfortable.
Crit / Headshots
Strong if you can land headshots on lanes; skip on pure hipfire spam.
Status Damage
Helps Heat / Viral / Corrosive DoT value when you lean elemental.
Build Viral + Heat or Corrosive + Heat for Steel Path pack clear.
Multishot / Set
Budget multishot plus Vigilante set crit chance on the gun.
Fire rate eats ammo — magazine or mutation mods keep long missions comfortable.
Multishot → Crit Chance/Damage → Elemental → (Fire Rate if sprint-reload is online) → QoL ammo/reload.
| Mission / Context | Rating | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Steel Path Survival / Defense / Disruption | Dense packs reward armed rocket AoE. Sprint between spawns to keep reload short. | |
| Exterminate / Capture Speed Runs | High fire rate deletes tiles quickly if you respect arming distance and don’t waste rockets on empty air. | |
| Mobile Defense / Excavation | Hold objectives by blanking approach lanes; reposition with sprints so reloads stay compressed. | |
| Open World / Long Sightlines | Rockets shine mid-range. Extreme long range is usable but feels worse than hitscan crit rifles. | |
| Solo Boss / Single-Target Demolishers | Fine DPS with a crit build, but purpose-built single-target weapons or melee often finish faster. |
Blueprint drops from Demolisher enemies in Invasion Disruption on Uranus (and related Demolisher spawns). Resources are standard Foundry mats — Hexenon is the gated craft cost.
Other options if Acceltra isn’t the right fit.
Same fantasy with stronger crit/status, faster reload, and Prime polarities — upgrade path when you have the relics.
