Playstyle

Nekros Prime is the primed variant of Nekros — same kit fantasy with Prime stats and polarities. There is a reaper whose name is Nekros. Built around Soul Punch, Terrify, Desecrate.

Passive

Restore some Health with every enemy death within a radius.

When to Pick

  • You want Nekros’s kit with Prime polarities / stats.
  • You want a support / healer toolkit and Nekros’s fantasy matches the mission.
  • Your squad is missing what Nekros brings — especially Soul Punch.

Kit Overview

  • Ability kit matches Nekros — open the base ability pages for deep dives.
  • Soul Punch (Ability 1): A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path.
  • Terrify (Ability 2): Cast fear into the hearts of nearby enemies, causing them to run away in terror.
  • Desecrate (Ability 3): Forces fallen enemies around you to drop additional loot.

Abilities & Augments

Ability Priority

  1. 1
    Soul Punch

A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path.

  2. 2
    Terrify

Cast fear into the hearts of nearby enemies, causing them to run away in terror.

  3. 3
    Desecrate

Forces fallen enemies around you to drop additional loot.

  4. 4
    Shadows Of The Dead

Summon shadow versions of vanquished enemies to fight alongside you for a short period.

Helminth / Subsume

  • Soul Punch is often the Helminth sacrifice if your build never needs Ability 1 and you’d rather import a strip, buff, or survival tool.
  • Keep Terrify and later abilities when they define Nekros’s identity.
  • Never subsume the ability that enables the rest of the kit’s energy or survival loop.

Mod Scaling

Strength

Raises damage and effect potency across Nekros’s Strength-scaling abilities.

Duration

Extends channeled / timed effects — often comfort on Nekros if the kit leans on buffs or zones.

Range

Helps radius / targeting tools. Dump it if Nekros is mostly self-buff or exalted weapons.

Efficiency

Keeps ability uptime comfortable, especially on longer Steel Path missions.

Priority

Match the priority to your main ability — Strength or Duration first for most kits, then Efficiency, then Range.

Mission Usefulness

Mission / ContextRatingWhy
Steel Path Survival / Defense / DisruptionStrongSolid Steel Path pick — Nekros Prime won’t hard-carry every tile, but Soul Punch keeps the run stable. A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path. Prime stats give more room to Forma the same loop.
Mobile Defense / ExcavationExcellentNekros Prime wins Mobile Defense / Excavation by parking Soul Punch on the objective instead of chasing stragglers. A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path. Prime stats give more room to Forma the same loop.
Exterminate / Capture Speed RunsSituationalUsable on speed runs, but Nekros Prime’s support / healer kit usually wants longer objectives than a 3-minute Exterminate. A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path.
Spy / Rescue / NightmareSituationalOnly if you already know the vaults — Nekros Prime is not a Spy specialist and Soul Punch won’t save a loud play. A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path.
Open World / BountiesStrongStrong on packed bounty camps; Nekros Prime still leans on Operator / Archwing for the empty travel stretches while Soul Punch handles fights. A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path. There is a reaper whose name is Nekros.
Long-Range Gunplay / Eidolon-Style ContentWeakNekros Prime wants pack clear or finishers, not pure long-range; Soul Punch won’t save an Eidolon-style loadout. A blow so powerful, it turns the enemy's very soul into a deadly projectile, damaging all in its path.
