Strengths
- Flexible on-field damage dealer that can fit into many team archetypes
- Medium-range abilities with large AoE and high mobility during her special Skill state provide the potential to avoid incoming attacks without losing damage uptime with smart maneuvering of her Skill lunges
- Frequent self-healing allows her to sustain her HP without needing a healer in the team
- Fast, Normal Attack–coded animations and damage allow her to drive the abilities of off-field party members, such as Fischl’s C6
Weaknesses
- Long Skill cooldown relative to Skill duration
- No inherent interruption resistance without Constellations
- Cannot reach max damage potential on mobile (cannot queue attacks) or with high ping (delayed inputs / Bond of Life registration)
- Somewhat reliant on 4-star teammate Constellations for maximizing team damage (e.g. C6 Fischl, C6 Kujou Sara, or C6 Chevreuse)
Talent Priority
Main source of damage or utility. Level to 10.
Level to 6–8 for meaningful gains.
Level minimally or skip.
Substat Priority
Fischl's Oz and Clorinde's own Skill particles keep Burst rotation comfortable at 130%.
Solo Electro on team means higher ER investment is needed for consistent Burst uptime.
Clorinde generates Electro particles from her Impaling Thrusts. Run Fischl for additional Electro particle generation to supplement her Burst uptime.

Support
Clorinde's strongest team. Nahida (or another Dendro unit) applies Dendro to create Quicken, then every Electro hit Clorinde lands triggers Aggravate for substantial flat DMG bonus per hit. Fischl provides off-field Electro for sustained reaction generation.

On-field Electro thruster. Each Impaling Thrust hits a Quicken-aura'd enemy for Aggravate (flat +1119 DMG at L90 Quicken). With multiple thrusts per second, total Aggravate contribution is enormous.

Best Dendro applicator. Her Skill marks enemies and deals continuous Dendro hits creating Quicken. Her A4 passive adds EM to the team.

Oz provides consistent off-field Electro ticks for additional Aggravate procs and Electro particle generation to fuel Clorinde's Burst.

Swirls Electro or Dendro for DMG Bonus. Groups enemies for Clorinde's single-target thrusts. EM buff amplifies Aggravate.
Talents & Constellations
Talents
Standard 5-hit sword combo. Replaced by Impaling Thrusts while Oath of Hunting Shadows is active — only relevant before activating her Skill.
Activates Hunter's Vigil stance: Clorinde's Normal Attacks become Impaling Thrusts — forward lunges that deal Electro DMG. Each thrust restores HP based on her Max HP. As her Bond of Life value increases from HP changes, thrust damage increases proportionally. Skill shots can be chained rapidly by alternating Normal Attack and Skill button presses.
Clorinde launches multiple Electro sword strikes across a wide area, dealing rapid Electro DMG. Each strike can trigger reactions independently. The Burst provides a significant damage window outside her Skill rotation.
When Clorinde's HP is restored by her Impaling Thrusts, she gains a brief window of Bond of Life increase that further empowers her next thrusts. Rewards rapid Skill rotation.
When Clorinde triggers Aggravate or triggers Overloaded, her current Electro DMG Bonus increases briefly. Stacks up to twice. Rewards playing in reaction-active teams.
Constellations
Each Impaling Thrust also fires a secondary Electro projectile to nearby enemies, improving AoE Electro application.
Is it worth getting?
Good AoE improvement. Helpful for multi-target content.
Flat CRIT Rate bonus, doubled Bond of Life damage contribution, and reduced Burst CD. A substantial all-around upgrade.
Is it worth getting?
Strong power spike. First pull target for Clorinde investors.
Increases Impaling Thrust damage.
Is it worth getting?
Direct improvement to her primary damage source.
Each Burst hit grants team Electro DMG Bonus stacks. In a multi-hit Burst, multiple stacks accumulate quickly.
Is it worth getting?
Meaningful team Electro DMG buff. Good on the path to C6.
Increases Last Lightfall damage.
Is it worth getting?
Incremental Burst upgrade.
After using her Burst, Bond of Life is maxed and her subsequent Impaling Thrusts deal double damage for 12 seconds.
Is it worth getting?
Endgame ceiling constellation. Doubled thrust damage for 12s post-Burst creates a massive DPS window.
C0 is strong in Aggravate teams. C2 is the first major pull target for a significant damage increase. First stop: C2. Endgame target: C6.
Alternatives to Clorinde
Not sure Clorinde is right for you? Compare against other characters to find your best pull.

Better in pure Electro builds without reaction teams; lower ceiling in Aggravate.

Better team energy and Burst DPS; different archetype with on-field Burst focus.

Goes in the team alongside Clorinde as a battery — not a direct replacement.
