Lyney is excellent — but only in his lane. He requires a mono-Pyro composition (Bennett, Xiangling, Kazuha/Sucrose) to reach his ceiling, struggles with AoE, and is vulnerable to interruption without a shielder. Arlecchino has broader utility: she works in reaction teams, handles multi-target content better, and builds her own sustain. Unless you specifically want the mono-Pyro Charged Attack experience, Arlecchino is the more versatile pull.

With Lyney
Mandatory in mono-Pyro. His ATK buff is Lyney's single biggest damage amplifier and Pyro resonance is required for the team to function.
With Arlecchino
Essentially mandatory in Vaporize comps. His Pyro shred and EM-scaling DMG Bonus are uncontested across Arlecchino's reaction teams.

Pillar of mono-Pyro. VV shred amplifies the entire team's Pyro damage and his DMG Bonus scales independently — one of Lyney's best support options.
