Beidou vs Fischl

The Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean vs. the Prinzessin der Verurteilung

TL;DR — Quick Pick

Pick Beidou if…

  • Against exactly two enemies where her Burst can bounce infinitely
  • When you need damage reduction and a shield to survive without a healer
  • If you enjoy the skill-based Parry mechanic

Pick Fischl if…

  • In almost any team that needs an Electro battery or off-field DPS
  • In Aggravate teams where her A4 passive procs constantly
  • When you want zero-effort, high-consistency single target damage
Verdict

Fischl is generally the more versatile and powerful unit due to her incredible energy generation and A4 passive. Beidou remains the queen of 2-target scenarios, but her high energy cost makes her reliant on a battery like Fischl.

Strengths & Weaknesses

Beidou

Strengths
  • Near-mandatory C2 in Taser teams — Stormbreaker discharge stacks with rapid Normal Attacks
  • Perfect counter Skill generates strong Geo/Cryo shield equivalent DMG reduction on top of damage
  • Stormbreaker's 15s duration is one of the longest off-field Bursts in the game
Weaknesses
  • C0 is underwhelming compared to C2 — a noticeable power gap between the constellations
  • High ER requirement (150–180% at C0) without Sacrificial Greatsword or Raiden
  • Stormbreaker only activates on Normal/Charged Attacks — doesn't benefit Catalyst or off-field Sub-DPS drivers

Fischl

Strengths
  • Best off-field Electro applier in the game — Oz applies Electro every 0.9s without any field time
  • Enables Aggravate, Quicken, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, and Hyperbloom with minimal investment
  • A4 passive fires Oz at enemies whenever any Electro reaction triggers — near-constant off-field DPS
Weaknesses
  • Fischl’s C1 is only relevant to on-field Physical DPS builds, but even then, it is not optimal since high Oz uptime is preferred for both more damage and energy generation.
  • The AoE Electro damage when summoning Oz is increased by 200% of her ATK. This is a 200% additive increase to her talent multipliers and only affects Oz’s initial summon.
  • Increases the Talent Level of Fischl’s Skill by 3. Fischl’s second-best Constellation due to Oz making up a significant portion of her damage for both off-field and on-field DPS builds.

Shared Team Members

With Beidou

Sucrose acts as the primary on-field driver for Beidou's Taser teams, using her normal attacks to trigger Beidou's Stormbreaker. Her EM buffs also increase the damage of the Electro-Charged reactions triggered by the team's high-frequency elemental application.

With Fischl

Sucrose provides Fischl with the grouping and EM buffs necessary to maximize her A4 passive damage in Taser or Aggravate teams. By swirling Electro, Sucrose ensures that Oz deals significantly more damage while also shredding enemy RES.

With Beidou

Beidou provides Neuvillette with essential interruption resistance and off-field Electro damage, which helps him trigger Electro-Charged for his passive stacks. Her Burst only triggers on normal and charged attacks, making her a perfect fit for Neuvillette's playstyle.

With Fischl

Fischl is a premier sub-DPS for Neuvillette, providing consistent off-field Electro damage and energy particles. Her Oz remains active while Neuvillette is firing his beam, ensuring a constant stream of Electro-Charged reactions to buff Neuvillette's damage.
