Playstyle

Passive

Each projectile dodged, each enemy lulled or disarmed, erodes Baruuk's restraint and fuels the storm within. As Baruuk's restraint is diminished he becomes up to a percentage more resistant to damage.

When to Pick

You want a crowd control toolkit and Baruuk’s fantasy matches the mission.
Your squad is missing what Baruuk brings — especially Elude.
You already own the mods / archon shards that make Baruuk’s scaling comfortable on Steel Path.

Kit Overview

Elude (Ability 1): Dodge all incoming projectiles, but only while not attacking.
Lull (Ability 2): A calming wave slows enemies until they fall into a slumber.
Desolate Hands (Ability 3): Summon a bevy of orbiting daggers to seek out enemy guns, destroying them with a small explosion.

Helminth / Subsume

Elude is often the Helminth sacrifice if your build never needs Ability 1 and you’d rather import a strip, buff, or survival tool.
Keep Lull and later abilities when they define Baruuk’s identity.
Never subsume the ability that enables the rest of the kit’s energy or survival loop.

Mod Scaling

Strength: Raises damage and effect potency across Baruuk’s Strength-scaling abilities.
Duration: Extends channeled / timed effects — often comfort on Baruuk if the kit leans on buffs or zones.
Range: Helps radius / targeting tools. Dump it if Baruuk is mostly self-buff or exalted weapons.
Efficiency: Keeps ability uptime comfortable, especially on longer Steel Path missions.

Match the priority to your main ability — Strength or Duration first for most kits, then Efficiency, then Range.
