Playstyle

Oberon Prime is the primed variant of Oberon — same kit fantasy with Prime stats and polarities. Healing and suffering do Oberon’s bidding. Built around Smite, Hallowed Ground, Renewal.

Passive

Oberon grants Righteous Negation to himself and his allies in Affinity Range when he collects Health Orbs, protecting players against the next instance of damage. Stacks up to stacks times.

When to Pick

  • You want Oberon’s kit with Prime polarities / stats.
  • You want a support / healer toolkit and Oberon’s fantasy matches the mission.
  • Your squad is missing what Oberon brings — especially Smite.

Kit Overview

  • Ability kit matches Oberon — open the base ability pages for deep dives.
  • Smite (Ability 1): Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard.
  • Hallowed Ground (Ability 2): Sanctifies the ground around Oberon, inflicting Radiation Damage to all enemies within the radius.
  • Renewal (Ability 3): Generates a protective aura that grants bonus Armor to Oberon and his allies and restores allies’ Health over time.

Abilities & Augments

  • 1
    Smite

    Energy 25

Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard. Enemies near the target also take a portion of the damage.

  • 2
    Hallowed Ground

    Energy 25

Sanctifies the ground around Oberon, inflicting Radiation Damage to all enemies within the radius. Also grants protection against Status Effects for Oberon and his allies.

  • 3
    Renewal

    Energy 25

Generates a protective aura that grants bonus Armor to Oberon and his allies and restores allies’ Health over time. Healing is doubled while within the radius of Hallowed Ground.

  • 4
    Reckoning

    Energy 25

Lifts enemies into the air and then hurls them down with conviction, removing their Armor. Enemies hit by this ability will grant Oberon additional Armor and have a chance to spawn a Health Orb when they die.

Ability Priority

  1. 1
    Smite

Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard.

  2. 2
    Renewal

Generates a protective aura that grants bonus Armor to Oberon and his allies and restores allies’ Health over time.

  3. 3
    Reckoning

Lifts enemies into the air and then hurls them down with conviction, removing their Armor.

  4. 4
    Hallowed Ground

Sanctifies the ground around Oberon, inflicting Radiation Damage to all enemies within the radius.

Helminth / Subsume

  • Smite is often the Helminth sacrifice if your build never needs Ability 1 and you’d rather import a strip, buff, or survival tool.
  • Keep Hallowed Ground and later abilities when they define Oberon’s identity.
  • Never subsume the ability that enables the rest of the kit’s energy or survival loop.

Mod Scaling

Strength

Raises damage and effect potency across Oberon’s Strength-scaling abilities.

Duration

Extends channeled / timed effects — often comfort on Oberon if the kit leans on buffs or zones.

Range

Helps radius / targeting tools. Dump it if Oberon is mostly self-buff or exalted weapons.

Efficiency

Keeps ability uptime comfortable, especially on longer Steel Path missions.

Priority

Match the priority to your main ability — Strength or Duration first for most kits, then Efficiency, then Range.

Mission Usefulness

Mission / ContextRatingWhy
Steel Path Survival / Defense / DisruptionExcellentEndless Steel Path is where Oberon Prime’s loop peaks — Smite is the button you press every pack. Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard.
Mobile Defense / ExcavationExcellentBring Oberon Prime when the objective can’t move — Hallowed Ground is built for standing your ground. Sanctifies the ground around Oberon, inflicting Radiation Damage to all enemies within the radius.
Exterminate / Capture Speed RunsSituationalUsable on speed runs, but Oberon Prime’s support / healer kit usually wants longer objectives than a 3-minute Exterminate. Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard.
Spy / Rescue / NightmareSituationalOnly if you already know the vaults — Oberon Prime is not a Spy specialist and Smite won’t save a loud play. Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard. Healing and suffering do Oberon’s bidding.
Open World / BountiesStrongStrong on packed bounty camps; Oberon Prime still leans on Operator / Archwing for the empty travel stretches while Smite handles fights. Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard. Prime stats give more room to Forma the same loop.
Long-Range Gunplay / Eidolon-Style ContentWeakOberon Prime wants pack clear or finishers, not pure long-range; Smite won’t save an Eidolon-style loadout. Focuses deadly energy within a target, dealing massive damage and removing all of its defenses, including Overguard.
