Strengths & Weaknesses

Herta

Strengths
  • “It's Magic, I Added Some Magic” hits every enemy on the field in one cast, so Herta stays relevant when MoC and Pure Fiction spawn multiple targets.
  • Talent “Fine, I'll Do It Myself” fires Follow-Up ATKs off ally Basics—damage keeps flowing even when Herta is not the active turn.
  • Skill “One-Time Offer” hits every enemy on the field in one cast—this is the spend that keeps the rotation honest.
Weaknesses
  • Follow-Ups from “Fine, I'll Do It Myself” need allies who actually Basic ATK on schedule—freeze/CC on the team stalls Herta’s off-turn damage.
  • As a 4★ Erudition unit, Herta is easy to gear for early/mid game but usually loses the niche race to a modern limited option once that banner is built.
  • Spamming “One-Time Offer” every turn without watching Skill Points strands the rest of the team—Herta is often the SP sink.

Rappa

Strengths
  • Ultimate “Nindō Supreme: Aishiteru” Enters the "Sealform" state—most of the kit’s damage lives inside that window, not on filler Basics.
  • Skill “Ninja Strike: Rooted Resolute” hits every enemy on the field in one cast—this is the spend that keeps the rotation honest.
  • Talent “Ninja Tech: Endurance Gauge” hits every enemy on the field in one cast—miss the stack conditions and the burst window feels empty.
Weaknesses
  • E0 without “Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker” is still clearable, but the gap versus a signature copy is larger than a single eidolon for most Erudition carries—plan the cone before deep eidolon hunting.
  • Rappa wants Break Effect supports and Toughness bars that can actually be broken; into awkward weakness line-ups the Complete Combustion / Break loop loses most of its damage.
  • Spamming “Ninja Strike: Rooted Resolute” every turn without watching Skill Points strands the rest of the team—Rappa is often the SP sink.

Tingyun is the Advance / DMG amp — time their Skill/Ult for the carry’s damage window.

With Rappa

Tingyun amps Break Effect / action value so Toughness bars die on schedule.

With Herta

Pela applies DEF shred / vulnerability so the carry’s multipliers actually land.

With Rappa

Pela enables Super Break / Toughness pressure rather than a generic CRIT Harmony slot.

With Herta

Gallagher covers healing (and often Energy / cleanse) so the carry can stay on-curve.

With Rappa

Gallagher keeps Toughness routes alive with heals (and Break-friendly sustain when built that way).
