Guns carry — Smoke Screen is the survival layer.
Incarnon or primer secondaries that do not need Blade Storm.
Movement melee — you are not leaning on Shadow Clones.
Grouping or Viral — pick for gun AoE comfort.
Smoke Screen is the survival engine; a damage Helminth (Roar, Eclipse, or Xata’s Whisper) buffs guns while you stay invisible. Blade Storm is optional pressure, not the clear plan.
Ash’s passive bleeds enemies that are open to finishers — Blade Storm marks and Teleport finishers feed that pressure. Plan the kit around finishers (or Blade Storm hits) instead of raw Ability Strength alone.
Strength for the weapon buff; Duration for Smoke Screen and buff uptime.
Range is mostly dump unless your subsume needs it. Efficiency helps buff refreshes.
Corrosive Projection for gun armor pressure; Cunning Drift or Preparation in Exilus.
Roar is the generalist. Eclipse rewards stealth uptime. Xata’s Whisper adds Void for specific gun setups.
Smoke Screen covers gun clear on long objectives; clone-crit Ash usually outscales deeper, but the platform plan is comfortable for base SP.
Hold the objective while Smoke Screen covers reloads and repositioning; guns delete without waiting on clone animations.
Invis + guns clear tiles fast — no mark setup tax.
Silent weapons and Smoke Screen keep routes quiet; skip loud Helminth casts in vaults.
Camp stages reward invis gun clear; travel stretches still lean on Operator / Archwing.
Works if your Incarnons already reach; Ash is not an Eidolon / Amp specialist.
