- Ultimate “Pyrograph Arcanum” hits every enemy on the field in one cast—level this before polishing filler traces.
- “Scorch Onslaught” Blast-hits the main target plus adjacent enemies, so adjacent elites still take meaningful chip without waiting for Ultimate.
- Talent “Quartet Finesse, Octave Finery” rolls a base-chance debuff that wants Effect Hit Rate—miss the stack conditions and the burst window feels empty.
- Learning when to hold vs spend “Scorch Onslaught” is the difference between a clean Jiaoqiu cycle and a wasted Skill Point.
Weaknesses
- Several Jiaoqiu effects roll “base chance”—without enough Effect Hit Rate, Exposed/Shock/DEF shred simply misses on tanky bosses and the rotation feels empty.
- If Energy or Skill Points starve “Pyrograph Arcanum”, Jiaoqiu spends turns on Basics and the kit’s advertised multipliers never show up on the combat log.
- Spamming “Scorch Onslaught” every turn without watching Skill Points strands the rest of the team—Jiaoqiu is often the SP sink.
- If “Pyrograph Arcanum” is still offline at the end of a MoC cycle, the build is usually Energy/ERR or rotation order—not a missing CRIT roll.

Sets the number of "Ashen Roast" stacks on enemy targets to the highest number of "Ashen Roast" stacks present on the battlefield. Then, activates a Zone and deals Fire DMG equal to 120% of Jiaoqiu's ATK to all enemies. When an enemy target gets defeated, their accumulated "Ashen Roast" stacks will transfer to the enemy with the lowest number of "Ashen Roast" stacks on the battlefield. The maximum stack limit of Ashen Roast increases to 9, and each "Ashen Roast" stack reduces the target's All-Type RES by 3%.
Is it worth getting?
Whale ceiling: When an enemy target gets defeated. Only chase if Jiaoqiu is your dedicated Nihility main and E0–E2 already feel finished.
