Should You Pull?SITUATIONAL

Situational standard—Welt delays and shreds as Imaginary Nihility. Ultimate “Synthetic Black Hole” hits every enemy on the field in one cast. Best with Acheron / Dr. Ratio / Boothill. EHR for Imprison; often a debuffer flex not a carry. Skip when limited Nihility already cover both sides.

Welt is a 5★ Imaginary Nihility Debuffer. Skill “Edge of the Void” is the primary in-combat spend. Ultimate “Synthetic Black Hole” is the payoff window for damage or team utility. This Phase 1 page covers kit text, gear targets, and pull notes—team comps stay empty until Phase 2.

Strengths

  • Ultimate “Synthetic Black Hole” hits every enemy on the field in one cast—level this before polishing filler traces.
  • Skill “Edge of the Void” rolls a base-chance debuff that wants Effect Hit Rate—that is how Welt applies pressure between Ultimates.
  • Talent “Time Distortion” When hitting an enemy that is already Slowed—ignore it and Welt plays like a worse generic Nihility unit.
  • Learning when to hold vs spend “Edge of the Void” is the difference between a clean Welt cycle and a wasted Skill Point.

Weaknesses

  • Several Welt effects roll “base chance”—without enough Effect Hit Rate, Exposed/Shock/DEF shred simply misses on tanky bosses and the rotation feels empty.
  • If Energy or Skill Points starve “Synthetic Black Hole”, Welt spends turns on Basics and the kit’s advertised multipliers never show up on the combat log.
  • Spamming “Edge of the Void” every turn without watching Skill Points strands the rest of the team—Welt is often the SP sink.
  • If “Synthetic Black Hole” is still offline at the end of a MoC cycle, the build is usually Energy/ERR or rotation order—not a missing CRIT roll.

5★ · Path cone

Increases the wearer's DMG to debuffed enemies by 0.24%. When the wearer uses their Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for this attack increases by 0.18%, and ATK increases by 0.24%.

2
Incessant Rain

5★ · Path cone

3
Good Night and Sleep Well

4★ · Path cone

4
Boundless Choreo

4★ · Path cone
