Should You Pull?YES

Yes for multi-target—The Herta wants a second Erudition battery. Ultimate “Told Ya! Magic Happens” hits every enemy on the field in one cast. Best with Jade / Anaxa / Serval / Argenti / Tribbie. Full kit unlocks with another Erudition attacking often. Skip when you lack a second Erudition and only farm single-target MoC.

The Herta is a 5★ Ice Erudition Main DPS. Skill “Big Brain Energy” is the primary in-combat spend. Ultimate “Told Ya! Magic Happens” is the payoff window for damage or team utility. This Phase 1 page covers kit text, gear targets, and pull notes—team comps stay empty until Phase 2.

Strengths

  • “Told Ya! Magic Happens” hits every enemy on the field in one cast, so The Herta stays relevant when MoC and Pure Fiction spawn multiple targets.
  • “Big Brain Energy” Blast-hits the main target plus adjacent enemies, so adjacent elites still take meaningful chip without waiting for Ultimate.
  • Talent “Hand Them Over” When enemy targets enter combat, The Herta inflicts 1 stack of "Interpretation" on them—miss the stack conditions and the burst window feels empty.
  • When you own “Into the Unreachable Veil”, The Herta’s damage or utility ceiling jumps because the cone was written around this kit’s triggers—not a generic path stick.

Weaknesses

  • E0 without “Into the Unreachable Veil” is still clearable, but the gap versus a signature copy is larger than a single eidolon for most Erudition carries—plan the cone before deep eidolon hunting.
  • If Energy or Skill Points starve “Told Ya! Magic Happens”, The Herta spends turns on Basics and the kit’s advertised multipliers never show up on the combat log.
  • Spamming “Big Brain Energy” every turn without watching Skill Points strands the rest of the team—The Herta is often the SP sink.
  • If “Told Ya! Magic Happens” is still offline at the end of a MoC cycle, the build is usually Energy/ERR or rotation order—not a missing CRIT roll.
