Chen Qianyu exists to keep Physical crush setups fed so Mi Fu never stalls — infliction and enabler duty, not a second carry. That is a narrower yes than pulling a premier buffer: you take her because your Physical team is missing the setup beat. If Mi Fu or Rossi is your endgame plan and the clear feels starved for enablement, she is worth the pull; if you do not run Physical crush, leave her alone.
Chen Qianyu is a 5★ Physical Sub DPS (Sword). Chen is a Vulnerable application monster, with her Battle Skill applying it directly, while her Combo Skill lifts enemies, which also adds one stack.
Weapon
Rapid Ascent

Physical have a much easier time staggering enemies, so you will be able to benefit from the bonuses of this weapon quite regularly with Chen, so make sure you got your Battle Skill and Ultimate locked and loaded before a Stagger when wearing this.
Gear Set
Swordmancer
The Swordmancer set is a great choice for Chen, further boosting her ability to stagger and deal damage to the enemy. Physical teams are all about staggering enemies to set up big Physical bursts, so you might end up having multiple characters in the team that are all decked out in this set.

ATK +7/12.6/19.6%. When the wielder's skill applies Vulnerability, during the next ultimate cast within 30.00s, the wielder gains DMG Dealt +12/21.6/33.6%. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3.00. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.5s.
Why it works —gives Agility and Critical chance making this a fairly viable weapon for Chen. The special effect of the weapon works wonders with Chen due to the nature of Physical Operators being able to apply Vulnerable quite easily, further boosting her ultimate DMG.

Agility Boost [M] · Physical DMG Boost [M]
ATK +5/9/14%. When the wielder deals a Physical Status, the wielder gains ATK +7.5/13.5/21% for 20.00s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 2.00. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.

Agility Boost [S] · Physical DMG Boost [S]
When the wielder's battle skill hits the enemy, the wielder gains ATK +12/21.6/33.6% for 20.00s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Why it works —Triggering Chen's Combo Skill is quite simple, so maintaining uptime on the passive skill is not difficult at all.
