Da Pan is a real Physical Striker, but he sits below Mi Fu and Rossi on the Monument damage ladder. He can hold a Physical slot while you save for a crush carry, or cover a second team when the account needs two Physical clears. Do not burn limited pity on him if Mi Fu or Rossi is available; do consider him if you specifically like the kit and already own the Physical enablers he needs.
Da Pan is a 5★ Physical Main DPS (Great Sword). Da Pan's playstyle is very straight forward.
Weapon
Amaranthine Tassel
Amaranthine Tassel is Mi Fu's Signature Weapon. However, it also perfectly aligns with Da Pan, since he work practically the same exact way as Mi Fu does.
Gear Set
Grizzled Edge
Da Pan's new best Gear set. This set was released in Version 1.3, and intended to be Mi Fu's launch best-gear.

Level after higher priorities — supports the basic attack role in the rotation.
Da Pan's playstyle is very straight forward.
Use his Battle Skill and have your other Operators help build up to 4 stacks of Vulnerable, at which point his Combo Skill gets triggered to Crush enemies for one massive chunk of damage.
Use these notes as the operator priority order inside the comps above.

Strength Boost [L] · Attack Boost [L]
Physical DMG Dealt +16/28.8/44.8%. When the wielder applies Physical Susceptibility, the wielder gains Arts Intensity +30/54/84 for 20.00s. When the wielder applies Crush, the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +[9/16.2/25.2% + (3/5.4/8.4% Ã Max number of Vulnerability stacks consumed from one enemy)] for 30.00s. The two effects apply separately and do not stack with themselves.
Why it works —Amaranthine Tassel is Mi Fu's Signature Weapon. However, it also perfectly aligns with Da Pan, since he work practically the same exact way as Mi Fu does.

Strength Boost [L] · Arts Intensity Boost [L]
Physical DMG Dealt +7/12.6/19.6%. When the wielder casts battle skills or combo skills, the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +5.5/9.9/15.4% for 20.00s. Max stacks for effects of the same name: 3.00. Duration of each stack is counted separately. Effect only triggers once every 0.1s.
Why it works —Phantom Pain is a Protocol Pass weapon intended for Mi Fu. However, as his kit works near identically to Mi Fu's kit, this makes this weapon a perfect fit for Da Pan as well.

Strength Boost [M] · Arts Intensity Boost [M]
Arts Intensity +10/18/28. After the wielder consumes Vulnerability stack(s), the wielder gains Physical DMG Dealt +[5/9/14%ÃStacks Consumed] for 20.00s. Effects of the same name cannot stack.

Why it works —Exemplar is a powerful 6-star weapon to use on Da Pan. He'll stack on more damage every time he uses his Battle Skill or Ultimate, for a very high final multiplier to all his Physical damage.

Grizzled Edge is Da Pan's BiS. Physical DMG and Arts Intensity on the pieces match his Crush/Physical Susceptibility kit, and the set bonus pays off whenever he is the one applying those statuses.

Da Pan Crush Striker with Rossi on Vulnerability: Gilberta/Perlica add Arts amp and utility when you want a denser Physical-plus-Arts clear.

Da Pan is the Crush Striker — take the Vulnerability windows the supports open and finish with Crush.
Rossi converts Vulnerability uptime into Physical clear speed. Beside Da Pan, she is a second Physical damage pillar that wants the same Vulnerability setup.
Gilberta applies Arts Susceptibility and Nature enablement, then amps the dump with her Ultimate. She is the premium Arts support seat next to Da Pan.
Perlica is the Electric enabler. Battle Skill applies Electric Infliction on demand; Combo Skill applies Electrification on Final Strike so Electric kits like Da Pan's can actually function.
BASIC ATTACK: An attack with up to 4 sequences that deals Physical DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 20 Stagger. DIVE ATTACK: Basic attack performed in mid-air becomes a dive attack that deals Physical DMG to nearby enemies. FINISHER: Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher that deals massive Physical DMG and recovers some SP.
SKILL DESCRIPTION: Takes out a wok, quickly charges it up, and performs a powerful wok flip that deals Physical DMG and Lift to the enemy.
COMBO TRIGGER: When an enemy reaches 4 stacks of Vulnerability. SKILL DESCRIPTION: Swings the wok at the enemy to deal massive Physical DMG and Crush. This Crush also deals more DMG.
SKILL DESCRIPTION: Da Pan slams the chopping board to forcibly Lift all enemies in the area of effect in front of him. This is followed by a 6-sequence flurry of slashes that deals Physical DMG. The final step is to bash every enemy to the ground to forcibly Knock Down and deal massive Physical DMG to them.

Ultimate CHOP 'N DUNK! improved: If the ultimate defeats at least one enemy, Da Pan deals +30% Physical DMG for 15s. This effect cannot stack.
