Should You Pull?YES

Flagship Version 1.2 Cosmos DPS with a clear dual-state loop and rare off-field Charge Enhancement that feeds the whole team's Ultimates. Pull if you want a modern melee carry and energy engine in one kit — skip only if you are hard-saving for another limited banner and already cover Cosmos damage.

Shinku is an S-Rank Cosmos melee DPS who builds Defiant Spirit in her normal kit, then spends it to enter Surging Crimson — a Frenzy window of enhanced attacks that ends with Crimson Fury, a wide dragon-breath finisher. Her Charge Enhancement passive mirrors on-field energy gain to off-field allies, so she doubles as a swap-team Ultimate battery.

Strengths

  • High ceiling burst once Surging Crimson is online — enhanced basics/skills plus Crimson Fury finisher.
  • Charge Enhancement is real team value: off-field Ultimates charge whenever the active character gains energy.
  • Readable game plan: fill gauge → Ultimate into Frenzy → dump enhanced kit → breath finisher.
  • Condensate Arc compatibility keeps her in a shared weapon pool with other Condensate-line carries.

Weaknesses

  • Dual-state kit has a learning curve — mistiming the Frenzy window wastes Defiant Spirit.
  • Important QoL (full interrupt resistance, keeping stacks after swap) is gated behind Awakenings rather than the base kit.
  • Melee range and gauge-building tempo punish play that sits off-field too long without a plan.
  • Arc, Cartridge, and team rankings are live — swap partners by availability, not by archetype purity.

Team Compositions

Shinku’s Charge Enhancement feeds the whole squad’s Ultimates while Sakiri’s Feast of Gluttony locks enemies and shares ATK. Fadia keeps the front line alive through damage share; Hotori records Assist/Skill windows for a second burst during time-stop.

Shinku

Sakiri

Damage-share and Max HP drain keep Shinku’s on-field Frenzy from getting her killed.

Records Assists/Skills then replays them in Floating World Tide for a second damage beat.

Kit & Awakenings

Kit

BasicBasic Attack: Specialty Martial Arts

Performs up to 5 consecutive Cosmos attacks. Hitting enemies grants Defiant Spirit. During later hits, hold Basic to branch into Specialty Martial Arts — Variant, which also generates Defiant Spirit.

CosmosMeleeDefiant Spirit
SkillSkill: High-Speed Breakthrough

Dashes into the target with a rapid multi-hit Cosmos assault and gains Defiant Spirit.

CosmosDefiant SpiritMobility
UltimateUltimate: Boiling Crimson

Consumes all Defiant Spirit to enter Surging Crimson for 13s and unleash multi-hit Cosmos damage. Basics become Terrifying Assault, Skill becomes Skyfall Crimson Spear, damage and interrupt resistance rise, and mobility spikes. Swapping out ends Surging Crimson.

BurstSurging CrimsonState Change
UltimateUltimate: Crimson Execution / Dragonfire

Near the end of Surging Crimson, press Ultimate for Crimson Execution — rapid blink strikes between targets (up to 3, based on Skyfall casts). When Execution charges are spent or Surging Crimson ends, press Ultimate again for Crimson Dragonfire, a wide Cosmos AoE that closes the window.

AoEFinisherCosmos
PassivePassive: Lone Road / Reverse Scale

Charge Enhancement: when the on-field character gains Ultimate energy, off-field characters gain the same amount. While Shinku is on-field during Charge, each trigger deals AoE damage (scales with Basic level) and stacks ATK (5% per stack, up to 10, 30s). Reverse Scale: Ultimate deals 50% more damage to non-Boss targets.

A1Alley in Pouring RainPull Target

Shinku’s damage ignores 12% of the target’s DEF.

Is it worth getting?

Worth taking if you already own her — first clean damage spike on the way to A2.

A2Training Ground at DawnPull Target

After Ultimate hits, Shinku lowers the target’s Cosmos RES by 10% for 20s.

Is it worth getting?

Strong early stop — shred makes her Surging Crimson window hit harder for the whole team.

A3Beach Under the SunsetSkip

Switching characters no longer removes Intimidating Gaze; Gaze stacks also build while Shinku is off-field.

Is it worth getting?

Not a recommended stopping point — pick up only on the way to a later target.

A4Snowy SlopePull Target

Intimidating Gaze stack cap rises to 16. At 16 stacks, Instant Assault gains the extra Perfect Dodge / Counter Instant Assault effects: forced knockback and brief paralysis (non-Bosses), plus a follow-up hit equal to 20% of Instant Assault.

Is it worth getting?

Pull if you play swap-heavy teams that lean on Gaze; skip as a hard goal if you mainly park her on-field.

A5Living Room Full of LaughterSkip

During Surging Crimson, Shinku’s DEF +50%, interrupt resistance +50%, and casting Skill: Skyfall Crimson Spear restores HP equal to 300% of her base ATK.

Is it worth getting?

Skip as a goal — comfort and sustain pad, not a play-pattern unlock.

A6Crimson Dragon’s Treasure HoardSkip

Skill: Skyfall Crimson Spear, Ultimate: Crimson Execution, and Ultimate: Crimson Dragonfire damage multipliers +30%. Skyfall and Crimson Execution also pull nearby targets.

Is it worth getting?

Skip unless you are intentionally maxing her — not required for the kit to function.

A0 Shinku is fully playable: the dual-state loop and Charge Enhancement are in the base kit. Awakenings mainly buy comfort (interrupt resist, swap retention) and vertical damage — not a broken incomplete character. First stop: A2. Endgame target: A4.
