Cast Changes

  • Turns a damage throw into a soft / full armor strip tool depending on Strength.
  • Subsequent casts refresh the strip duration; multiple hits can stack reduction.
  • Strip needs line of sight even though the projectile can seek through walls.
  • Marked enemies show a green Corrosive-like aura so the strip is readable in-fight.

Worth the Slot?

  • Worth it when Ash (or a Helminth host) needs on-demand strip without a dedicated Corrosive primer.
  • Excellent on Steel Path / Eximus packs where unstripped health pools waste Blade Storm and finishers.
  • Skip it if your loadout already overkills armor (Viral + Heat, full team strip, etc.) and you’d rather keep the mod capacity elsewhere.

Tips & Tricks

  • Strip the heaviest target in a pack first, then mark with Blade Storm so clones aren’t chewing armor.
  • Recast on the same enemy to refresh the strip timer instead of waiting for it to fall off mid-fight.
  • Cast while Smoke Screen is up — you can strip safely without drawing fire.
  • If you can’t reach full strip Strength, still use it: partial armor cut is often enough for finishers to connect.

Notes

  • Armor reduction is affected by Ability Strength; duration is affected by Ability Duration.
  • With one Corrosive Projection in the squad, 100% strip is easier (~118% Strength).
  • Works as a Helminth strip option when Shuriken is subsumed onto another Warframe.
